Hi, all. Recently I was tested against herpes and my results were 19.8U/mL Igg and 18.6U/mL Igm (positives are above 20 U/mL) really high. My doctor told me that everyone has these antibodies and that I don't have herpes. I am really confused because every article I read online says that just presence of this antibodies means that you were infected in some period. Also I have some strange symptoms, like burning, tingling nerves in my legs, eyes, arms and I am really concerned. So my question would be is it true that everybody has hsv-2 antibodies and what my results really mean? Am I infected and could I infect someone? Should I retest? Thank you in advance.
