So I was diagnosed back in September and I'm currently having my second outbreak. The sores became infected so I am currently on valtrex to treat the sores and an antibiotic to treat the infection. I feel like I'm currently experiencing prodrome symptoms though and I don't know if that's even possible if I'm on the valtrex already. It also sort of feels like a yeast infection, but there's no vaginal discharge yet. It's just tingling and itchy.
