My partner has never has any symptoms (as he claims) and he will get checked. I have HSV2 and racking my brain as well.  You know men carry it and are less likely to show symptoms.

Hey there… I’m feeling better after almost a week.  The swelling has gone down greatly and I’m slowly coming out of the depression.  I would like to say that I’m almost thinking this is a benefit - it would weed out jerks who are superficial and love you for who you are.

Hello.. how long did the outbreak last?  I was so swollen for 3 days could hardly walk. Took 4 days off of work.  I’m so confused how I got this 9 months after being with same guy.

Single mom here (42) dating same guy fir 9 months and all of a sudden bam: end of my period-pain, itchy, migraine for a week and at the gyno she showed me with a mirror the lesions. Nearly threw up when she said herpes. Went for bloodwork and it’s type 2. Another week will tell me if it’s recent or from a while ago. I’m sad, depressed, missing work and no motivation to do anything. Help me please
