  1. Hey @mr_hopp Thanks so much for your response. I think the hardest bit of all of this (for me) is the false hope at the end of an ob just to be smooshed down with another one. BUT I do think I am healing this time. Sensitive and worried, but healing. And yes,I am genuinely surprised at the support I am receiving, after 20 years of no support from my ex (who I think I got this from a long time ago) this new phase of my life is really positive... even with ghsv1. Crazy right??! Big love right back at you! Xx
  2. Hiya, I got diagnosed with ghsv1 mid March 2024 after squeezing what I thought was an in growing hair on my labia. I had fever, sweats etc etc and it was rough. After that I have had (I think) 3 smaller outbreaks, but atypical. Basically lumps not blisters and a 'split' in the groove/join between my inner and outer labia. Now, the skin looks all clear as if I'm healing, but I still have tingles and also now some itchy/burning sensations (bit like thrush). My question is... is this potentially the end of this series of outbreaks? Or does tingling ALWAYS signal new symptoms on the way? I am getting really fed up,and even though I have a VERY patient and thoughtful new partner (since Jan 24) I am very frustrated by this. Please any responses with info about prodrome/atypical presentations/stages of an outbreak would be gratefully received. Wishing everyone here much love and healing xx thank you in advance xx Edit to add: I am currently taking acyclovir, 1000mg L lysine, vit c and zinc, general multivits, antihistamine and extra vit d. Daily.
