  1. I was diagnosed with HSV-2 back in February, and for the first time, I'm actually feeling a little bit appreciative of the virus. I use a dating site, and before my diagnosis, I was always getting messages from people that just wanted sex, while I wanted a real relationship. After I was diagnosed, I kind if isolated myself from dating and people in general, but I have recently gotten myself back into dating and social contact. I updated my profile to include my herpes status, and I have only gotten messages from people who admire my personality and respect my decision to disclose that I have herpes. My quality of relationships has only gone up, and I don't have to worry about having the awkward herpes disclosure talk.
  2. @MsJinx That sounds like it would really help. Thank you.
  3. (I feel like this is kind of TMI, but I really want to know if this specific thing has happened to other people here.) My first OB started on Monday. It wasn't too bad at first, some pain and a couple blisters, since then it has only gotten worse. My sores are on my inner labia, from the clit to the urethra, and I noticed that it has started to "stick" to my outer labia when it tries to scab over. Whenever I move, it feels like it's tearing and breaking open, causing the absolute WORST pain I have ever felt ever. Should I put a layer of gauze or loose cotton in between the sores and my outer labia to keep it from doing this? I'm taking acyclovir, and epsom salt baths at least 2-3 times a day.
