Can body please tell me does green tea help to suppress the HSV2 virus or is it in fact something to avoid???? - i have been researching on the net and have been finding mixed messages!!!! So i dont know whether to keep drinking it?

Hi thanks for both your replies I have been given acyclovir rather than veltrex (due to cost i guess) - i think i may try half the dose as if it doesnt suppress the virus i will always have the 800mg approach to fall back on. i guess its trial and error!! I will check out all the links and do some research into what vitamins may work better for me!! Thanks for you help

Hi i have HSV2 since Feb 2013 and only suffered one OB however since Jan 2014 i have had numerous OB therefore i have decided to give suppressive treatment a go - i have been given aciclovir 400mg tables to take daily and have been advised to take 800mg a day! However I am thinking of only taking 400mg a day to suppress the virus - can anyody advise me if this is a better option as two tablets seem like overkill??? Also what vitamins will help fight this dam virus???
