Hi again thanks for the reply. It's strange this like I said am getting tingling in my hands and face then I get red sores that are yellow and scab up the ones on my bottom shrink in only one night from the size of a coin to half that. Year hit started on my hands plus face in step but got the sensation in both places in June so from it starting in November to it spreading in June is just over six months. Am also getting cold sores and ulcers all I can think it must be hsv1 and another infection been on antibiotics nothing helped. But hopefully the infectious disease dr can find out.

Hi again I don't get sick a lot it might be my immune system there must be a way to find out tho will ask the dr when I see him/her. The inside of my checks and tongue used to have white lines on them all the time but it's calmed down now. Also I've only had one blister with pus come up and that was back in April when I started taking valtrex. At the moment I've stopped antivirals it's been the same on and off no better or worse. I've had a blood test that's how I found out the hsv1 thing am waiting on my skin test to come back too.

Thanks for the reply. Is it normal for obs to happen every 3 days? It's been like this for a year now

Hi I've had hsv1 since 22nd November 2013 started on my face been having obs every 3 days then at the end of May I started getting them on my bum and and hands I get the tingling feeling in both places I've been to my dr she's thinks its impetigo. Just wanted to know what you guys/girls think. Am also going to see a infectous disease dr in London in November.

One more thing has any one else had it this bad ?

Hi sorry for the late post. Am still the same getting them every few days. At the mo am on 2x famciclovir a day hope it works. The 200mg Aciclovir didn't work or valtrex. But my doctor gave me flucloxacillin a anti virial it cleared my tongue up I've just got off them but I think it's coming back. Will get some more. They told me it was hsv1 but just why is it coming back a lot? Hope everyone is doing well thank you for the help and support.

Hi again so am on 200mg of Aciclovir 5 a day for a week then 400mg two a day for two weeks. I spoke to my Dr if this doesn't work then I'll see a disease Dr. Just hope it does I've been geting new one ever 3 days now.

Thanks again should I ask my do doctor about seeing a Infectious Disease Doctor or find one and make an appointment. I've looked and the nearest one to me is in London.

Sorry forgot to say am starting to eat more healthy and get into a good sleeping pattern. Hope it will help. Also I did go though a lot of stress last year and I was drinking a lot. Maybe that had something to do with it like it.

Thank you both for the replays I will talk to my doctour about my immune system. At the moment am seeing a dermatologist she was the one who put me on valtrex. Am going to see her again in three weeks. I'll update you about my progress.

Hi am new to this site I found out I had herpes on 22/11/13 it's been going on since then every 4 days on my face is this normal. Am on valtrex 500mg been on it for 3 weeks now but it's not getting better. Just want to know if any one else has had outbreaks every four days and if it gets better? I live in the uk sorry if it takes me awhile to reply.
