  1. It's possible to just get prodromes without an outbreak on the initial onset of herpes?
  2. Ok, I'll go to a dermatologist next week and see what he has to say.
  3. I don't think so. I've been to the doctor twice and he didn't notice anything that might be herpes related. I have been seeing a girl who has HSV-2 for months now. I've been getting that tingly sensation on my scrotum for a week now, but don't see any actual signs on my scrotum. I originally accepted that I had herpes when I noticed the signs (muscle aches, tingly, red bumps). But the lack of lesions in the areas where I feel the tingly sensation and my doctor telling me I don't have it is leaving me confused.
  4. I noticed a rash on my back, near the armpits. I checked with the doc and he said it was possibly shingles. He still has not notcied any signs of herpes. It has also been a week since i've been feeling the tingly sensation on my scrotum, anus and thighs. I know that the tingly sensation is where the OB usually happens. I keep getting new red bumps on my thighs, but nothing on my penis, scrotum or anus. I noticed today (on hamstrings) two new red bumps. It hurts when I touch them. Is it possible for a male to only have an OB on the thighs? or could it possibly be from shingles? I've been to the doctor twice in the past week, I can't keep going back because of my schedule and also because it feels awkward going back and fourth. I've read through some posts and there are a lot of knowledgeable people here. Hoping someone can give me their input on this. Also, I have posted here before, you can look at my past questions if you'd like more detail.
  5. Yes, I'm aware dancer. I know that the symptoms/sores don't look the same on everyone. I wanted to see if anyone else has similar looking sores when compared to mine. If anyone is offended by this image, please let me know, I will remove it: http://i.imgur.com/jcV2Hyl.jpg For context, its on my upper inner thighs.
  6. @inka I did get a blood test about a month ago. It was .91 for both HSV1 and 2. It was looking for specific antibodies. .91 meant that it was neither positive or negative.
  7. TL;DR Had sex with a girl (who has genital herpes) almost every Friday since late April (2-3 times a night). Last Friday, condom broke (I was wearing boxers, which were wet from her clear fluids) and I felt itchiness and a tingly sensation around my scrotum, anus region, butt, inner thighs, and sometimes on my penis, and occasionally, just itchiness, on calves, knees, back, feet, near armpits and the next morning I now know that it can only be transmitted from skin to skin contact. My doctor told me there were no signs of STD's. Believe me, there was nothing else I wanted to hear more. I told him about the tingly sensation, but he can't explain why that is. I also know that it takes at at least 24 hours before symptoms appear. I saw some new..I think sores on my inner thighs. Am I allowed to post pictures of it on here to get your guys opinion? Maybe I went in for the checkup too early
  8. @helzbellz88 Yeah I did talk to her, she doesn't really like talking about it. @inka haha she does squirt. But the condom did break. Well, this at least gives me some hope. @WCSDancer2010 I don't think she had active OB. I'm hoping she'd tell me if she did. Originally, she did not tell me she had herpes until about a month ago (have been seeing her since late April). We had sex unprotected a few times and protected most of the time (during the time I was unaware about her herpes). I have a good time with her so I forgave her. She doesn't take any suppressants. I do not know where she gets her OB's. She doesn't like to talk too much about it. @FF1 No this wasn't the first. I also saw her last week. I did use a condom, however, after a few strokes, I felt like the condom was not on properly so I took it off and put it back on again. I was very drunk at the time so I don't remember if I put it on inside out (where the outside of the condom had already been wet from her clear fluid) Thanks for the support. It really helps to talk about it.
  9. Im a 20 year old male. I was seeing someone who I knew had genital herpes. Last night we had sexual intercourse and the condom broke. Today, my scrotum, thighs, and anus were itchy/tingling. I'm certain that it's herpes. I'm going to go to my doctor on Monday. The funniest part is, I kept my boxers on to lessen the chance of transmission. Unfortunately, my boxers got wet from her fluids because she was on top and I never bothered to take them off. I'm trying get to get over what happened because I knew the consequences. But I'm getting very depressed over it. Every time I feel that tingly sensation( has been quite constant), my stomach drops. I have work tomorrow morning and my job requires me to do lots of walking. I'm hoping the painful blisters don't appear when I wake up. I'm not even sure if I'll be able sleep tonight. But that is my story. Any support is greatly appreciated.
