  1. It was athletes foot! Lol never had it before but now anytime I have a bump or blister I immediately think its H! lol
  2. Do you know if it will always appear on my foot? Is it like going to be a permanent OB spot? Thanks for your help!
  3. No, I don't recall ever sitting like that. But, as I was thinking about my first OB I do remember having a small blister one my opposite foot, but just one and it was tiny. Hmmm.
  4. Last month on November 3rd, I tested positive for hsv2. My first outbreak was very minor, now, I have a cluster of blisters on the side of my foot. Anyone else ever experienced an OB in a weird place? I've heard if it travels down a different nerve that ypu can get an OB anywhere below the waist. I guess I'd much rather have it on my foot than anywhere else. It is much more painful then the first OB I had.
  5. Thank you for the info. I literally was just diagnosed yesterday and everytime I turn around, I have a new question. This stuff is tricky.
  6. Hello, everyone. I am a newly diagnosed member and had a question about shaving down there. Obviously, not during a breakout, but, is it ok to shave when you are not having one? Good idea or bad?
  7. Well, this is a forum that I never thought I would add to my list, but, here I am. Hello, friends! After creeping this site for a few days, I decided I would post and say "Hi" I am a 28 year old married mother of 2. My husband and I had a crazy summer, we decided to have somewhat of an "open experimental marriage" We did some less than responsible things, we were both aware of what the other was doing and even had some experiences together.(I said it was a crazy summer lol) After a few months, we decided to chill out and we went on with our normal, happy marriage and everything was fine...until I noticed a tiny spot on my labia minora. I wasnt sure if it was a shave bump or what. It wasnt terribly painful, just annoying, then, I got very, very sick. I had fever, chills, horrible headaches and body aches, fatigue and just felt my absolute worst. It was terrible. After googling all my symptoms, I just knew and went to the ER as I felt like I was knocking on deaths door. They looked at the spot, which now looked like a popped blister and said it looked like Herpes, which I was already convinced I had. Wonderful. I was sent with a Valtrex script and was on my way. I only had the one sore and the flu symptoms. The meds had me back at work 2 days later. I just got my offical," You tested positve for Hsv2" diagnoses yesterday, although I have suspected for a week that I in fact did have this virus. I do not know my levels as the ER did not specify. I'm so lost in this virus I am finding it hard to sort the facts and myths. This seems like a very helpful and supportive group of well informed/educated individuals. I am glad to have the support of others going through the same thing.
