I tested positive for HSV-2 in November. I get tested for STDs often but they never tested for HSV. So I am not sure how long I had it, but I have never had any symptoms.

Thank you WCSDancer your response makes a lot of sense. I will hold off on the anti virals for now. I do worry about finding a partner and telling her about my herpes. But will cross the that bridge when I find that person. :)

I am so glad to have found this forum. Even though I am OK emotionally I do feel a little bit down. Not depressed of sad, just a little down. I did a full STD panel test and tested positive for HSV 2. The IG test number was >5.0H. I have no symptoms or outbreak. Not sure when I contracted the virus, but it seems like a long time ago. I have had a couple of warts on my thighs for over a year. The questions had have for the forum is 1. Since I have no symptoms should I go for anti viral medication 2. I do have three warts on my inner thighs. Two of them are over a six months old and one recent. Is the new wart a sign of an outbreak? 3. Is it OK to leave the warts alone or should they be removed.
