Well, there is no update.lol We were suppose to get together the Saturday before Easter but I received a text saying, things in his life are out of control, from his ex to his personal life to something physical that came up that he couldn't talk about...so, no conversation took place. I still have time on the dating website, so I'm sure I'll be needing encouragement some day again. It doesn't matter how long or short you have had H, it's always a struggle to have that conversation..thank you all for the encouragement.

Disclosure failure, :( We had a great night of dinner, conversation and lots of making out.. First time alone! I had plenty of time to disclose but I failed. I felt ashamed. It was great to be in someone's arms again and to be kissed and touched. To be open: my pants stayed on but there was touching down there. His pants came off. I cried on my way home as what an idiot I was !! What the heck is wrong with me? I was prepared...I should have talked. Now, how is it going to look when I do tell him, which HAS TO BE next time I see him...is he going to feel betrayed? Is he going to look at me differently? Please help!!!!

I was diagnosed in 2001 and have had two serious long term relationships since plus one one so serious. I have sat all down before we had sex and explained I had the herpes virus and how I got it . Everyone on this discussion board is correct on how much anxiety you get before THE TALK but this time I have even more anxiety. This new guy I met on match, had several dates like 6, awesome guy. Been very open and honest about my life except for the virus. I'm afraid ! In his profile on match he mentioned jokingly, " I don't have any std's, and have a dr Note to prove it" ...I know it was just a comment but that's what sticks out. We are finally meeting somewhere private , I think dinner at his house, monday. I need help on how to talk about it, please ! I should be a pro having it for so long and been on meds since 2001. No outbreak in about 8 years! I'm 46 and still struggling how I let this happen. Any and all advice !!!
