Not sure there is an accurate medical answer for this but any idea how long it takes for someone to become contagious? Is it immediately upon contracting? Approximately 4 days after I believe I contracted oral herpes I kissed someone a single time on the lips. Just having my first symptoms now more than a month later. Do I cause panic for this person by telling them to get tested or was our encounter too soon?
