  1. Hi all. To my knowledge I've only experienced the primary outbreak after transmission. I check myself multiple times a day (for almost a year) for anything (changes/bumps/lumps/etc) and I've always noticed tiny flat white/skin colored bumps along the thin (almost shiny) skin inside my labia. I've had these long before being diagnosed with hsv2. What are they?
  2. I'm planning on telling him tonight. He was away then I ws away etc and I've been waiting for an appropriate time. I'm just worried he's going to think I've had it all along. This was like, textbook recent infection primary outbreak.
  3. I was diagnosed with HSV2 shortly after my primary outbreak 7/27 with a blood test and a swab culture. Symptoms began 4-5 days after having sex with my boyfriend for the first time. My IgM was negative, and my IgG was very very low, which my doctor translated as a brand new infection (I have not had recent sex with anyone else). I want to tell him that I likely got it from him but I want to have evidence that he likely gave it to me when I have this conversation. I love him and I'm not out to blame him, but I don't want him thinking that I've had this for a long time. Is my doctor correct in his translation of the IgG results? Also, although I have no active sores at the moment, I noticed some slight itching (mostly at night) and a small bump where the healed sore was. Is his normal? I have completed a prescription of Valtrex and continuous Valtrex wasn't recommended by the doctor, though I have a prescription for it if needed. Thanks for your advice .
