Thanks for the replies, they are all very appreciated. The burning and bumps continue, I went into an STI clinic today and at first she did't see anything and then she changed her mind and thought there was something suspicious. I think she deals with this a lot so I tend to trust her judgment. She swabbed, did a blood test and started me an acyclovir 400mg three times a day. Now I just need to wait and see. I am still torn about the girlfriend, I am missing her a lot but I also had reservations before. This is at least giving me some time to try and sort it out, hopefully I don't lose her if I change my mind. Anyway, I really appreciate the time you took to help me out, especially when there isn't a tangible benefit to you. I'll put in an update when any news comes back.

Hello, so I recently made a poor choice and am waiting for the consequences. I was traveling over seas and got a "special" massage there was no intercourse but a lot of full body rubbing down low and unprotected oral sex. It was a mistake and since then I have been a bit of a mess. The exposure was 13 days ago. Two days after I got burning in my genitals mostly inner thighs and butt no rash was noted, after I got back from travel I went to the doctor. At my first dr. exam I asked the physician about small white bumps that I hadn't noticed before and she said they were normal. They treated me for gonorrhea and chlamydia both came back negative. I have been tested for other sti's in the past but never herpes. The burning lasted a week post treatment, and now the generalized burning is gone and has gone to strictly the underside of my penis. I have noticed some small bumps not really red but irregular and white a bit clustered in the area as well at the base of my penis. None have opened and I'm not sure if they could be used for testing yet. They are moderately tender the burning seems to vary during the day. My question is, do you think this is herpes? If so when will they likely open up and become painful? I have a 3 day mtn biking trip next week any thoughts on what it will be like then? Also, should I seek out anti-vitals right away or wait to be tested? I already broke it off with my girlfriend of 6months halfway because I couldn't bring myself to tell her what I did, luckily she was out of town so I didn't put her at risk. I feel pretty awful, she is very sad about the breakup as am I. I realize I did it to myself... Any advice on the course of action from here would really be appreciated.
