i had sex 2 times with a boy, once protected and once unprotected in a matter a few hours. he disclosed a few days after the fact that he has ghsv..... i went to doc and was prescribed an antiviral 3x a day for a week, the doc said in his experience, this can prevent herpes from manifesting in a painful way if i am infected. About 2 weeks after the encounter and a week after finishing the antivirals, I experienced about 5 days worth of itching down there right before my period and a little bit of itching around my anus. that all lasted maybe 5 days and is now gone i never developed any sores or had any pain peeing or pain in my legs, and i also didnt have any flu like symptoms. what do you think the chances are that i am infected from my 2 encounters? i dont know if he takes antivirals or not. he said he had one outbreak 8 months ago and thats when he found out. in total, the encounter was 6 weeks ago.
