When I was 19 I felt a sore on the under side of my shaft, it was an open sore like a crater and relatively painful this was also accompanied with painful urination and milky discharge. I went to the ER that night and they quickly said Herpes and that was that. I have never taken any medicine and now almost 16 years later, I have still not had any sort of OB since the very first diagnosis. Earlier this year I took a full std checkup through stdcheck org through labcorp and my hsv2 came back at 2.2 which many people state is in the grey area which makes me wonder, is there a chance I was misdiagnosed originally or with both "yes" answers does this just mean I am asymptomatic or dormant? I am obviously grasping at straws because after being married for 10 years, I am going to start dating again and nothing makes me want to throw up more than my own fear of disclosure.
