When you had your first outbreak or even following outbreaks with a fever, did the fever last right up to the sores/lesions appearing or did it break before the sores appearred.

Hi newt8, usually you only experience fevers from your first outbreak. Usually the initial outbreak fever only lasts until the outbreak! Remember to hydrate, sleep lots and eat lots vitamin and nutrient enriched food if you are experiencing symptoms!

Did your fever last until the outbreak or was there a gap between the fever and the outbreak. Had a fever for 2 days then fever broke and haven't noticed any symptoms for a day.

My fever was at its pique the night before I noticed an outbreak! If you have not noticed any symptoms for a day and are starting to feel better that is a good sign. If by another few days you do not notice any signs of blistering you should almost certainly discount the possibility.

Thanks, I was hoping since I only had a fever and no other symptoms and I was feeling better today I may be out of the woods so to speak in regards to an outbreak. I hace read though that some people don't have symptoms between prodrone and outbreaks so now not sure.
