This is my second month after contacting HSV1 and HSV2. Will i spread Herpes to someone who kisses me on the cheeks or someone who hugs me? Is Herpes contagious by sharing food?

Answers to your questions are NO.

You dont spread herpes by sharing food, giving hugs or giving or receiving kisses on the cheeks. Herpes needs direct and prolonged skin to skin contact to be contagious. So, unless you rub your infected areas really hard with the other person, you wont spread it.

Don't feel lousy. Herpes isn't really that big of a deal. I freaked out when out of nowhere I had what appeared to be a herpes outbreak 15 years into my monogamous relationship. That was about three weeks ago. Since then I've tirelessly learned about HSV and I don't care so much anymore. So learn all about it and post all your questions freely. Soon enough you'll realize it's not such a big deal. There'll be a vaccine eventually and then, poof, stigma gone. The alternative is to never have sex and that would be way worse. Take care!

I am refraining myself from sex. I am so afraid of spreading it to my partner. I have hsv 1 and 2.
