Valacyclovir not working?

On Valacyclovir currently. 5 days down and 2 days left of the meds and I still have trouble walking bc of the discomfort. Normal? Do I need a different medicine?

How many mg/gs is it? Are you taking Tylenol? I had my first OB hsv1 start sept 22. I was on valtrex 1000g twice a day for 10 days. Cleared up a lot. Now I’m on 400mg daily suppressive acyloior and I take 1000mg lysine vitamins. I look like I have a little scar and I have some tingling still but for the most part I’m all cleared up. I cut back on my alcohol drinking and I don’t drink pop and make sure I’m getting at least 7 hours of sleep.I would call and say you’re still in so much pain and maybe reschedule for daily treatment.
