Not always. They tend to decrease over time. You can have reactivations in the future that do not result in a full on break out, meaning itchiness, tingling and do not lead to lesions. They will usually reappear in the same spot, but can appear in a different spot as well. Lesions can also be the size of the tip of a needle, a small barely noticeable bump, patches of lesions etc. Did I answer your question?
