Swab came negative but two doctors who have seen it say it’s herpes

The same thing happened to me....I also took a blood test that came back negative as well. I am going to go back in 3 months to take the antibody blood test again and see what happens. My OB/GYN thinks it might be a fungal infection and my dermatologist is convinced it was herpes. Any updates for you?
