If it’s below the waist kissing should not be an issue however during oral is an outbreak is coming on or present your partner can get it orally

Not for me but asking for a friend. They have hsv 2 and it’s been over a year and they have had multiple outbreaks sometimes back to back and it being coming an issue for them and take a toll on them. Are there any remedies besides diet and expertise. Any tricks you guys can recommend I feel bad because I have type 1 and only 3 known ob in 5 years so I don’t know how to help. Are there any things that trigger hsv 2 more than 1

This happens to me too I’m not sure that it’s considered an out break or not but I really don’t understand it either. If you find an answer please share. It’s usually after we have sex two days in a row I’ve had it 5 years and my first was blisters but I also had one a couple months ago that we’re blisters

I’ve had genital hsv1 for over 5 years and it’s caused minimal issues more annoying than anything! But I started a new relationship and he has HSV 2 Genital. I’m confused by the precaustions I need to take. We have already had sex protected and once unprotected and we were fully disclosed with each other. But I can’t seem to find answers. Can I get type 1 and 2 Genital and of so how severe is that? And what should I expect. If u have type 1 genital does that lesson the chance of type 2 genital. I’m very confused and there’s nothing on google that helps. I really like this guy but I’m scared of making my situation worse. Im also very confused on how it affects man. Do they have it on their penis when there’s an outbreak I just need to know what signs to look for and what I should expect for myself.

I wish I felt good enough to do any of those things I don't even wanna get out of bed Saturday afternoon and Sunday I felt better o thought Maybe I was wrong but checked again and they were there. To I feel like they spread it was so long ago that I don't even remember how my first one went I just remember a lot of tears and weight loss and pain for about a week. This is just more of an irritated feeling that I know is there not so much pain but I feel it

My pharmacy will not give me a refill of my valtrex until Tuesday when my dr is in and I'm in pain now. Anthing I buy in cvs that I can use I have tea tree oil and l-lycine pills. Anthing I can use to reduce pain until I get the medication?

Thank you it's both but I hoped I would never feel the way I I did the first time again and then bam it's like a slap in the face. I though that when it happened again I would just deal with it but all the initial feelings came back

Hey everyone I know it's been awhile and I'm sorry. I guess for a while I forgot I even had hsv1 and I have neglected this site. Clearly I remember again and I wish I Didn't. In October 2013 I was diagnosed and going through a horrible ob and probably in the worst mind state ever. U couldn't deal with the reality of this and it distroyed me. I hate everything I was and couldn't think of living with this forever. Then slowly it got better. Then it was a year and still nothing I felt amazing and lucky. Fast foward to now up until 10 mins ago everything was great. Going from thinking about nothing but hvs 24/7 for months to not thinking about it at all for years at this point. In 10 mins all that heartache depression and pain came back when I discovered my second outbreak in the works. I honestly never expected it would happen again I embedded in my head I was normal and healthy which now I see is bad because all of that pain and depression I hoped I would never expedience again I'm going through almost 3 years later. I'm not sure I can't live my whole like waiting for this next episode. I feel like the past three years have turned back and I'm back to that devisteaing time

I always thought it was nessessary to do it. If I can go with out doing it I will but I always thought it was recommended.

When I was first diagnosed I went to the er thinking I had a uti so they gave me the antibiotics for it then the next day I went to my medical dr and got examined and it def wasn't a uti so I stopped the medicine. I started talking them ghw day I wrote this post and felt better instantly. No sore or pain anymore so I'm pretty sure it was just a uti thank god
