Can the virus still remain on the fingers into the water for a few seconds ?

And now I feel even more scared because I just had a bath, I touched my penis where i think i got herpes and then I put my head under water and then rubed my eyes. I think I put my hands under water as well but I am not sure !!

Thank you for your message I am really scared because I already did tests 4 weeks ago after my first burning episode and it was negative for bacteries and for mycosis (as well for chlamydia and gonorrhea). That is why i have serious suspicions about H. What else can it be What would be the difference for me between HSV1 and HSV2 in genitals ? I still cant believe what is happening to me

Thanks Judith and Hamathias for you support I had a urethral sampling (PCR detcetion) but I am really pessimist because i did previous tests for the other STD and they were negative, even for mycosis. So in the picture, there is only herpes left.. I will let you know and for sure i will need your help

Hi all I am waiting for my tests results but I am pretty sure I got HSV2. I don't have cold sores but it is red around my meatus urinarius and it is burning since 10 days. I received oral sex 9 weeks ago and 4 weeks after, it was burning but only for 5 days. I am desperate, I don't know how i will be able to handle it. I did'nt sleep well since so long. I feel very depressed and I have so many regrets not to have protected myself. I am wondering how it will be possible to have a normal life with this disease, a wife that i will love and not be scared to give the virus to her, and children.
