Hey everyone, I am 23- just got diagnosed 2 days ago with HSV 1 & 2 and struggling is an understatement. Really hating life at the moment and not feeling like myself. Would be really nice to message someone about this feeling/ share stories. I live in Olympia, WA if anyone on here is close. -K

Kyle! I just found out that I have HSV 1 & 2, and you hit the nail on the head with your description. I'm right here with you- being newly diagnosed is a huge whirlwind, and although there is an overwhelming amount of support here, it still doesn't seem to make a difference- nothing does. It is reassuring to read that I am not the only one who JUST got diagnosed. But know that you're not alone, and that although it sucks, it will all be okay eventually. Life wasn't meant to be easy. Struggles make the adventure worthwhile. Know that you will be (and are) loved- especially from all of us!! Honestly trying to stay as positive as possible (no pun intended ;)). I haven't left my bed all weekend. Sending love and hugs. You're awesome- remember its okay to be different. -K
