  1. I just hate the swollen node. It makes me freak out. I'm calm this time since this is the second time and the first was the exact same and resolved itself within a week or two. These outbreaks are more annoying then painful. Hearing it gets better with time helps ease my mind. Thanks for the words and time. It helps more then you know. @WCSdancer2010
  2. Since being diagnosed with Herpes Genital I've had an outbreak a few weeks after my first one. It wasn't as severe, I had no blisters or open sores. I just had some fissures or paper cut style lesions and a swollen lymph node on my left side groin. I just recovered from it and all was fine. Then two weeks later, today I got the same thing but on the right side. Same type of fissures and swollen lymph node. Along with the same symptoms. The occasional tingle, burn and groin pain. Back pain and sensitive skin. It's exactly like my second outbreak. My question is, will my outbreaks always be the same as the last two have been? Will it get better over time? Is it possible to get outbreaks just weeks apart after the first one. I'm now on month three with this outbreak being my third. Oh and is it possible that I only get blisters on the first one? Thanks in advance!
  3. It's good to hear things like this. I've been diagnosed for about 2-3 months now with the first outbreak being the worst. The second was right after and not as bad. I seem to be on the third one about a week after I healed from the first. Just some small fissures and a swollen node.
  4. Got over the swollen node and fissures on the left side of my groin but now it appears I'm having a another outbreak. Swollen node and fissures on the right side groin. I never took the medication. Will try and see if it helps.
  5. I have a pea sized lump I'm my groin, its very small but can be felt and seen since the skin near the groin fold is thin. I'm also having some groin pains and fissure paper cuts in the fold. Also tingling and burning sensitive skin in my thighs. I don't know if all of this is a prodome or an outbreak. I'm waiting for my medication to see if it helps. It's good to know I'm not the only one with what appears to be a swollen node. What are the size of the nodes you guys have and does anyone have them in the groin fold?
  6. Thank you so much for the suggestions and all the links. Will be going through all of them now. It's great to have all this support, help and information.
  7. Thank you so much guys. Hearing all this is a relief. You wouldn't believe how less severe my symptoms got after I started relaxing abit today. It's crazy how stress affects this damned condition we suffer from.
  8. It appears these paper cut lesions are called fissures. This is what o currently have in my left groin fold.
  9. Hello, about a month ago I developed a rash on my genital area which then had a bunch of blisters that looked like they had pus. Then some tiny red bumps on my penile shaft. Also had swollen nodes, groin tingling and pain and lower back pain. Went to see the doctor and was told it was Herpes, the genital kind. About a month later and one of the lymph nodes has decreased in size and I can barely feel it. I have been stressed lately and i think I may have another outbreak coming. I've been having the tingling and groin pain here and there. Lower back pain and I have a rash on the fold of my groin. No blisters or bumps. Looks like raw dry skin, like a few paper cuts that are red. I also noticed in that exact area a pea sized lump. It's not painful and it appears to be in the correct location of the lymph nodes in that area. I can even feel a chain of them if I continue my way down. However this is the only one that is easily felt. Could this be a node from my initial outbreak that never really decreased in size fully? Like I said it's the size of a small pea, its rubbery and slightly moveable. I'm hoping it's herpes and previous outbreak related. I freak out about anything and was worried maybe some lymph node cancer but I have no other symptoms besides herpes symptoms. Also is it possible to just get a rash with no blisters on recurring outbreaks? Accompanied by the typical tingling, groin pain and lower back pain and node swelling?
