I have very recently found out I have Genital HSV1. I have had some really bad days and some decent days. I haven't felt truly happy since I was diagnosed. I know that things will get better and that this isn't the end of the world. There is a lot to process with this, and it doesn't help when the person who gave it to me has left me in the cold. I have felt very alone and depressed. I feel like the scum of the earth, I feel like no one will ever want me again. I am fighting the urge to cut, something I haven't done in years. I'm just hoping to find someone to talk to, someone that has had this for a longer period of time.
