So, I’m struggling with the conversation too & trying to find a way to tell the person..... how do I start the conversation ?! I don’t want to freak them out and I’m so nervous.

Hi, first post here. So, I need to have the talk with my new bf and freaking out. He’s older than me by 13 years. I feel like he will understand and is super sweet. I’ve been positive for about 3 or 4 years. I had one outbreak when I found out and currtlet just had a very small outbreak. I have HSV-1 in both places outbreak was below. We drunkly had sex and a few days later I had another because I got a cold and immune system was suppressed. I have to tell him! I’m afraid I already put him in harms way and I feel horrible for that. I need to be honest with him. I’ve now gotten almost over everything and haven’t had any sexual contact since I realized what was happening. I’m so afraid he is going to mad at me or judge me.
