Herpes transmission stories from women?

This is a follow up to a previous post regarding transmission and our experience. Being a single male with H trying to date, the only information I have on transmission risk stats all come from two studies in Univ of Washington. All of them come from those two studies done on discordant couples. Going through the various blogs searching for transmission stories and dating non H. I found some common elements, Most people on the blogs were not informed by their partner about being H positive unfortunately most of them are still really anger and loath the person (lets remember this not a death sentence and our responsibility is to remove the stigma, being anger and hateful will not make anyone accept your condition)

 

Two and more significant, there are penalty of stories of woman dating/ marrying non H man and never passing it using mainly the preventive measure of meds and avoidance during outbreaks ( good news for you ladies). Man do not share stories of dating non H woman and what has been successful and not successful measures. I have asked the question have any man transmitted or successful avoided transmission to their partner using only abstain during outbreaks and daily suppressive meds? very few responses. Only few replies from some man stating just abstain during OB and they havn't passed it.

 

So I figured woman share stories, so I will ask the woman about circumstance of how you were gifted, any of you contacted H from situation in which your partner disclosed his status and still inadvertently got infected if so anything us man can learn from so that we can better prevent transmission.

 

Basically has anyone transmitted or contracted H while their partner was on daily suppressive meds.
