Natural tanning at the pool + Tanning salons

Hi all,

 

I've been reading that tanning is really bad and can trigger outbreaks, but I still want to enjoy the summer and love having a slight tan always ;)

 

Normally I tan in moderation, like a couple hours in the sun at the pool or if it's really rainy, like 10 min top at the tanning salon. And normally this is weekly or once every other week, nothing crazy!

 

Any recommendations? Like will covering the special gift area in the tanning salon, minimize outbreaks, etc?

Overexposure to sunlight can be a trigger for some people with HSV1 oral. What triggers an outbreak for one person may not trigger an outbreak in the next. I would think 10 minutes in a tanning salon would be ok, that's pretty limited exposure.
