My strategy to keeping outbreaks to only a couple days or so

*I originally titled this "New Skin for the Win", but thought maybe that was too confusing*

This has been the way I've been holding break outs to only a couple days max:

Get some New Skin (antiseptic liquid bandage) at the pharmacy or local store (OTC). If you see (or feel) a break out coming, use a Q-tip and apply some right to the spot you normally get them.

What I believe this does is

1. Soaks in and helps kill the virus from a topical strategy

2. Creates a seal over the area to keep it drier than usual and

3. new skin is supposed to be a liquid bandage so it might help seal and block contact to another person, towels, etc. (also take your valley clover :) )

Literally this past Thursday I started seeing a small outbreak, I applied new skin each day, and now Saturday its almost all gone.

Additional info:

-I haven't been infected for a full year yet.

-This strategy may not be great for ladies with a deep inner infection or certain sensitive areas on guys (this can burn quite a bit at first but it goes away in a couple minutes).
