Nerve/Numbness pain

So my wife experienced her initial outbreak and it obviously wasn't good. She had some problems trying to urinate which has gotten better. About 2 weeks ago she started to experience some pain in her calfs and and thighs and these pains still haven't gone away. She now has pain in her tailbone area. Some days are better than others

Please tell me this goes away!

And is there anything she can do to help alleviate what I'm assuming are nerve pain issues?

Anyone out there familiar with these symptoms and how long do they last. She's been having trouble sleeping

I was diagnosed in January and the pains have lessened over time. I'm on suppressive therapy now and I still get slight pains in my tailbone and hips. Everything is new to me so this is really the only information I can currently provide.
