Is this herpes

Just curious what this is? I am hsv 2 positive, but I have never had a full blown outbreak, that I am aware of. When I was first diagnosed I freaked out and basically told the doctor I wanted to be on acyclovir even though I wasn’t having any symptoms of an outbreak. Ever since I took the acyclovir these little red dots appeared and won’t go away. They don’t itch or hurt or anything, I discontinued the acyclovir well over 2 weeks ago and these dots will literally not go away. Is it normal for herpes to show up like this and not go away ever?

Do the dots inch or burn? the skin is the weirdest organ, it just...does things all the time. I would speak the doctor to confirm but if these dots don't have any pain, itching, or burning....I think it's unlikely to be an outbreak. If it started at the start of your meds you could be having a reaction to them.
