Passing herpes

Recommended Posts

I just recently found out I have herpes! It’s been over a month now since I found out. I have 2 children ages 3 and 7. I’m so terrified I could pass the virus to them I’m literally checking their face and genitals every single day. So my 3 year old daughter I’m scared she has it. I’ve researched symptoms I’m children online but she doesn’t have any of the symptoms however she has two very small little bumps inside of her bottom lip. They don’t look like lesions or ulcers just small white bumps. She’s her normal self. But I’m just so scared I could pass this to them and I don’t want them to suffer for something their father passes to me. I’m thinking just to get both of my kids tested just in case. That’ll be the only thing to ease my mind. I haven’t kissed them since I found out and I’m very careful with sharing food utensils and drinks. Does anyone know anything about passing it to kids? My world would be over just knowing I passed it to them. 😔
