Now that I have it I hear them everywhere. I don't react but internally I flinch every time. At some point does it stop bothering you? Even a work friend who doesn't know I have it said yesterday "It's not like I'm having a STD breakout, of course my vagina is healthy"  😞 as part story she was telling. There's a reason I don't tell this friend personal stuff. but still....

Hey. I know what you mean. I always cringe seeing these comments and people making jokes about it, they will never understand the real feeling. A friend of mine once made a joke like this, it really fucked me up, but I eventually told her I had H and I think that it makes people make sometimes change. 

I don’t know if it will ever stop bothering me, I don’t see it so much but it’s just how it is. We can’t stop people making these jokes, we just have to pretend it doesn’t hurt us.
