Pain without sores?? Is this herpes

Hi all,

I’m wondering if any H positive members here have had Genital pain for weeks, but never had any sores appear? Or just mild rash?

I think I may have atypical herpes but I’m really unsure because my symptoms were just intense internal pain that was constant for weeks, plus inflammed urethra and glans penis. All started two weeks after brief unprotected sex. Glans looks ok after awhile, but urethra is still red inside but no more pain...
