1. Can herpes outbreak last one day? 2. Can you be diagnosis with herpes and leave without medication? Even if you have symptoms? 3. If possible popping a herpes blister/bump is it suppose to be painful? I popped one of them and it bleed and disappear the same day I popped like it never existed

Crazy part i been to two Drs which both was clinics during both visits I had this bump. Dr. A said it was ingrown hair don't shave closely. I did test with bloodwork all were negative. Idk if herpes was included at the time. All this happen in April 2018. August 2018 i went to Dr b for this same bump I test bloodwork this dr b said the same thing as Dr a. That it was a ingrownhair. Then end of this week all my test came back negative with the expectation of herpes simplex virus 1. I wasn't giving no medications or called me in to tell me about my diagnosis. She told me over patient portal. So I went back to Dr a the same day I got my results back from Dr b. Dr a did a swab culture and now I'm awaiting the results

My boyfriend said the same thing. How can I have it when he doesn't. He test at the end of July for a physical bc he's a fire fighter. And all his test were negative.. I told him to go back so he can make sure he doesn't have it. He went today we are waiting on the results. He told his Dr about my situation and she said the same thing.. It was like a free walk in clinic bc I'm on Medicaid I don't have a Dr. Which is sad of me smh. I went to another Dr. Which is a clinic to bc she was more informative and treated me wit care. She did a swab culture on the bump. But stupid me never mention what the Dr at the other clinic said. I was terrified

During that time I had gotten bloodwork done. At that time a bump was present she said It could've been a ingrown hair.. then like weeks later I gotten worried bc I haven't heard anything so I had to keep calling. She finally reached out to me on patient portal saying everything came out negative with the expectation of herpes simplex virus and she goes on to say if you need to contact me on patient portal and that was that. I haven't gotten any update so I went the same day I gotten my results to someone else the bump is still present. Haven't gotten any bigger this time I got a swab culture after the cultureI burst the bump still no pain no osing it bleed a little went back to check on it and it disappeared

Ok. Is it normal for Dr to tell you have herpes or any bad diagnosis through patient portal. My Dr said I had it and that was that. She haven't even respond back to me. I wonder why I haven't gotten any medication if my blood work came back positive. I recently went to another Dr for a swab culture. I was diagnosed with herpes but didn't received/ prescribed any medication why is that? If I apparently had a break out. I went for a bump that was located in the pubis mons*pubic hair area.. It was just there no itching no burning no tingling or any of that.. so after being diagnosed I decided to Burst the bump. It bleed then disappear in the next hour or so.. like it never existed. I could've been misdiagnosed

She wasn't informative at all. That's why I'm stressed. I cried until I couldn't cry any more. I don't know what to believe or maybe I'm in denial This will be my 3rd time getting tested 1st time negative 2nd time positive 3rd time I'm awaitingthe results

You are so right. It's like she just delivered me the bad news and that was that. I did research and most people said that they left with medication bc the had physical symptoms such as bumps. Even though the results never came back. She didn't give me anything no information or tell what to do next I've been relying on Google and research. But to answer tour question I get those results some time next week. Thanks for replying btw she said I had herpes simplex virus 1. Which cause cold sore however she worded. But I have no signs of that. The bump is located in the pubic hair area and not around my vagina

Thank you for responding and trying to put what I wrote together lol. I want to say so much but I keep jumping from one thing to another.. I've taken a swab test the day after I've gotten positive result I'm waiting on the swab test results to come back do you think I'll come back positive too?

Yes. I agree I'm nervous and confused at the same time. I'm assuming I'm having a breakout. But after searching the internet my symptom isn't near what I've read. The first time I test* considering it was way to early it came out negative. After months later I tested again and it came out POSITIVE. I have bumps there not painful I popped one *me being curious it bleed then I looked again it disapearred like it never exist. I'm itching but it nowhere near where the bumps were. I didn't started itching until I started researching I think that part is all in my head.

Does the first outbreak suppose to be painful? Can you describe your first breakout.

^^^ can you explain you symptoms. I got tested three weeks after I had unprotected sex. All test were negative. Then I got tested again using blood work at that time I had a bump assuming it's a ingrown hair. All test were negative. Go back for the bump that been there no other symptom then the results come back positive... still not having any symptoms beside the bump. It have grew and bigger it's just there. Can you give me you thoughts? This time I gotten a swab waiting on results

On 4/1/18 I had unprotected sex. Like three weeks later all test were negative.! I recently shaved and I seen one ingrown hair *I'm assuming.painless no itching no burning no tingling or any of that. Just a bump. Was worried so I went back yo test again it was negative with blood work. As the days pass on I see like multiple bumps maybe 2 to 3 spread out. Not causing pain or anything I'm afraid so I go get test again and when the Dr said all my test came back negative with the expectation of herpes simplex virus and she goes on to say if you need to hesitate to call me..... why I didn't get any meds? What do I do next? The same day I got my results i went to another Dr she did a swab and blood work. At this time I had a bump but it's been there since the first time. Hasn't bother me or painful or oozing. Does this mean I'm positive
