Hi, I had flu symptoms exactly 6.5 days before the blisters came and I started taking medication. That was 17th of July... Then it took another week and three days for the blisters to totally go again. Around a week later it came back I'm still unsure if it was the same OB or a new one but it was just as painful down there but I didn't have the flu symptoms... However I still have lower back pain it just doesn't seem to want to ease up or go away do I duno... I promise even though my second outbreak was bad it was no where near the sheer trauma of the first one... I promise Xx

I go on holiday to Greece next week, can I still sun bathe and get an awesome sun tan? I managed to get a months supply of antiviral 400mg twice a day for a month till I go back to the clinic ... So I guess that's positive, my bf has hsv1 orally but not had a cold sore in ten years, and got hsv2 from me (at least I think he did) and they have given him the same (he takes 2x 200 mg pills, twice a day equaling my dose) ... Can we both relax in the sun? Xx

Yes or no? ... if yes, When? How soon after no symptoms?.... Will it go on my face n in my mouth?.... Can I orally please my man ever again? Can he do it to me ever again? ..... :-(

My question is... If I take antiviral tablets, will it take my body longer to create the antibodies it needs to control the virus?

I've been recently diagnosed and I am suffering quite badly just coming out of my second OB (that came seven days after my first OB ended) my boyfriend now is showing symptoms and I seem to have lower back pain, achy 'pulled' muscle feelings in my thighs and armpits near my breasts... And randomness shooting pains in different places on my lower body, calf/groin/ knee ... Buttock... I'm currently not showing any other symptoms of ON but I have decided to take begin a course of my antivirals because I can't take another OB right now. Does anyone else have these aches and pains?

I have recently been diagnosed. I have recently given it to my boyfriend which I am heartbroken about. The NHS (uk health service) guidance says that I must have more than 6 outbreaks in a year for them to consider suppressive therapy. I have had two out breaks both painful, close together. Now my boyfriend had it. Mentally I am struggling to cope and think I need professional help. I want suppressive therapy I can't wait for another 4 outbreaks I need to have some time off from this virus. As soon as I think I can move on BOOM it creeps back up. I can't take this anymore I'm going crazy.
