Hello, about a month ago I developed a rash on my genital area which then had a bunch of blisters that looked like they had pus. Then some tiny red bumps on my penile shaft. Also had swollen nodes, groin tingling and pain and lower back pain. Went to see the doctor and was told it was Herpes, the genital kind.
About a month later and one of the lymph nodes has decreased in size and I can barely feel it. I have been stressed lately and i think I may have another outbreak coming. I've been having the tingling and groin pain here and there. Lower back pain and I have a rash on the fold of my groin. No blisters or bumps. Looks like raw dry skin, like a few paper cuts that are red. I also noticed in that exact area a pea sized lump. It's not painful and it appears to be in the correct location of the lymph nodes in that area. I can even feel a chain of them if I continue my way down. However this is the only one that is easily felt.
Could this be a node from my initial outbreak that never really decreased in size fully? Like I said it's the size of a small pea, its rubbery and slightly moveable.
I'm hoping it's herpes and previous outbreak related. I freak out about anything and was worried maybe some lymph node cancer but I have no other symptoms besides herpes symptoms.
Also is it possible to just get a rash with no blisters on recurring outbreaks? Accompanied by the typical tingling, groin pain and lower back pain and node swelling?
