  1. Also the baseline is less than .91 = negative. No actual value was given just the fact that it was below .91.
  2. They seem to be pretty pervasive and there are multiple. Mainly in the perineum and anal area with two on the clit hood. I'm negative on everything else. Everything. I just hope that they will eventually go away.
  3. November: HSV 5.3 IgG February: HSV <.91 IgG May: HSV <.91 IgG I told WestoverHeights about this too and she thought that perhaps there was an issue in the lab with how the sample was handled. As you remember, I was negative twice before the 5.3. It's not fun having your nana burnt up on occasion.
  4. Hello, I haven't been around for a while but felt compelled to share my story since I last visited. Since I was diagnosed in November 2016 as an asymptomatic type 2 herpes sufferer, I Haas this crushing feeling that something wasn't right. I've been dealing with hpv (the warts variety) ever since so I frequent the obgyn often. Anywho, intermittently I will ask for an std panel to keep check on my status...you know, see if HIV comes up or something as I hear it takes time like most infections to appearing tests, etc. So since my 1st test, I've tested negative for both type 1 and 2 hsv. It was the IgG. First in February and just this month. Makes me wonder if the science is right about the disease Or if in fact my 1st test was mishandled on some way. Yea, I've asked for an investigation cuz hello it was depressing to say the least. But not as depressing as having to currently deal with cryotherapy and cancer fears. I think though that I'm more hopeful that this will actually go away over time. Anyway, that's my update. I'll continue testing periodically as everyone who has been or is currently sexually active so that they know heir status at all times. Ciao!!
  5. Ok, how intense can the flu-like symptoms be in relation to an outbreak and can you tell the difference?
  6. The red Cross blood donation site even says you can donate w herpes. It's not a blood born virus, it lives in our nerves, not our blood. Hmmmmm.....now this has me wondering if I got this from an earlier friend who was all gungho about how he cleared when giving blood. I never thought about that. Antibodies can be found in the blood but not the actual virus. Smh.
  7. Haha! I used hsv as a relationship filter and it worked! He still wanted to get to know me but wanted to move too fast (online dating site). It was the day I found out that I had it so I was super suspicious and numb and just wanted to be left alone. When he got up in arms about revealing his own test results. No go. Too bad he was also a control freak. Lol!! See, works both ways. You still have to be mindful of you and your boundaries at the end of the day.
  8. Yes! A scary control freak at that. He could crush me with one hand if he were angry enough.
  9. Ob/gyn and he referred me to the westoverheights site too. I read over her handbook but didn't realize the test option. I've moved twice, 2 different states, in the last 12 months and have seen two different ob/gyns in this Atlanta office alone. I've requested my records be moved each time so I should be able to request copies of everything that I need from here. The one who diagnosed me I have to say was pretty gracious in that he told me that not a lot of physicians will say tho but you're not dirty, this is not your fault, and it's in the population. So I think he at least understands the perception, and he also said that it could very well be a false positive. I always ask specifically to be tested for herpes via blood test as I've known for some time that it's not included. I just wonder if now I've driven myself crazy for being responsible. Sigh.
  10. Also, I like masturbating. It's quite important to me to not lose my sexual confidence that I just worked up in the last few years after becoming an atheist and doing away with sexually views. We each have our priorities.
  11. I fuss a lot. If need be, I'm getting a swab. Lol. I have had to fight alll my life! Really, the school clinic years ago did everything to tall me out of checking out my first ever boil. (my dad figured it was an insurance issue...ch....). I had to explain that I wasn't leaving and that someone had to look at it. I wasn't dealing with a damn hair bump. Thanks WCS.
  12. Not the first time I've been told that I over think. Sigh..........make it stop.
