Since my First OB of genital herpes type 1, three weeks ago, I am itching all over. Especially my nose. And feet. Is this part of it? I have been looking all over for answers. The sores are long healed but I still feel flu like symptoms, achey, and low fever. And shooting pains down my leg. And crazy itching down there. I just want to feel better. When does this craziness go away?

Aww I'm sorry this is happening to you. You did nothing wrong! I don't know if it gets easier cuz I just found out today that I have genital hsv 1. Haven't told anyone and am completely devistated. Same thing, kept going back to him. And obviously he was having more fun on our breakups than I was. So, I don't know if it gets better but it really sucks right now. This site has made me feel somewhat better though. I'm 46 and dating hasn't been at all easy and just got harder :( But, my mom always says, "everything turns out ok in the end. If it's not ok, it's not the end" so, let's keep our chins up and try to stay positive. Being upset and angry is just going to make the outbreaks worse.
