Doctors who specialize in herpes in SoCal?

I live in Southern California and have been trying to look for a doctor that specializes in HSV treatment. I feel like there must be ONE in this huge general area of LA/OC/San Diego but I haven't found anything searching online. Any suggestions/recommendations from anyone in CA? Should I just start by going to a gyno or...? Thanks guys!

sorry i m not from the USA but as far i know there are in the whole world specialist for genital diseases(not for H at all but for all kind of diseases) but for sure you gyno is always the first option.....i am sure they saw a lot of herpes in they live.20 percent of every american have it so they must have seen it and can help you with that.Anyway if its a specialist or not they always give you the option for bloodtest(if you have right insurance ,i know in america its diffrent then its in europe) and they can give you recept for anti virales.Non of them will tell you someting new , you need to have a healthy and stressless live that the virus keep calm.There are people who dont get any outbreaks but there are some who get every 1 or 2 month. OB..in this case you need antivirales to fight the virus.Sorry i couldnt been a help for san diego area but H is the same all over planet....be healthy , be stressless and maybe you can search for H support group...i am sure there is one in your area...its good to talk with people who have the same condition.HERE YOU ARE in the right place :)Herpes Opportunity :) good luck
