Do people get facial herpes with one visit to strip club?

Recommended Posts

I went to a strip club 4 days ago and had a lap dance and I was fully dressed, but she rubbed or touched hee breast to my face 3-4 times. Now Im concerned if I'm at a risk of getting facial Herpes. I came back to my flat and took a 30 minutes bath. But after 4 days I saw small bump on my lower lip, no pain, no itching, no tingling, no burning, nor have flu like symptoms, nor fever, body aches, anything. Am I safe?

The risk of contracting herpes from the scenario you described is extremely low. Facial herpes (typically caused by HSV-1) is typically transmitted through direct skin-to-skin contact, like kissing or oral sex with someone who has a history of herpes outbreaks in that area.

In your case, you had a lap dance where the dancer's breast briefly touched your face. This kind of contact is not a common way for herpes to spread. And herpes outbreaks rarely happen on the breasts (the skin is too thick to accommodate a herpes outbreak). Plus, the appearance of a small bump on your lower lip without any other symptoms doesn't necessarily indicate a herpes outbreak. Many things can cause minor skin irritations or bumps.

However, if you're concerned or the bump persists, you can get the bump swabbed and PCR tested to help put your mind at ease. But based on what you've described, the likelihood of contracting facial herpes from this encounter seems very low.

Thanks for responding quickly on my post. So Its just my overthinking and I had a glimpse of her breast and did not found any rashes or sores nothing. However, it's been 4 days and small to negligible bump appeared yesterday only. And normally herpes on lips or face comes with multiple bumps, so one bump and also not caused any other bump around it after 24 hours is a safe signal right?
