Herpes symptoms: What is going on?

I thought I was getting a herpes outbreak, so my doctor told me to take 2 of my valtrex suppressant instead of one. And I also put tee tree oil where I felt the tingling. Now I'm itchy and just uncomfortable down there. I'm not in pain, which is good! But it feels kinda like razor burn... even though I didn't shave down there. Or kinda like a pulling, stretching feeling... Kinda hard to explain. But it doesn't feel like blisters. I'm new to this so I'm still trying to figure out what an OB is. I've only had one and it was tough but my doctor said it was mild compared to most inital OBs. Just wondering if anyone else has had these symptoms.

Very possible that you are experiencing the "Prodrome" symptoms - which are various sensations like nerve pain/tingling/itching/etc ... it means you could well be shedding but it's not a total OB. Be careful with the tea tree too - full strength can be a little strong for some people and might cause some irritation to the area.

Aaaand again - length varies from one person to another.... :)

You may want to dilute it a bit and see if that changes your symptoms....

Cramps??? Not that I know of.... :p

The more you focus on this, the more "symptoms" you will experience... I would try to find things to occupy your mind... try not to focus so much on every little feeling. Believe me... you will figure out what *your* symptoms are over time.... ;)
