If HSV2 blister pops, will herpes spread?

I have HSV2 for sure and today I discovered a pimple looking blister in the pubic hair area just before I got a Brazilian wax. The blister did not pop thank God, I am wondering what to do with this painful blister? Can I rub alcohol on it to assist with drying it out? What happens if it pops, will the virus spread? I am so nervous!

So did you get the Brazilian or not? Certainly if you did make sure they know that you have it so they don't put the wax over it or mess with it, both for their sake and yours. Even better, wait till it heals to get waxed.

 

Definitely don't put alcohol on it. Sit in a tub of water and dump several handfuls of epsom salts in the water and soak for awhile ... then go commando as much as possible (in bed - loose shorts/pants , during the day, whenever you are home, etc).
