One of the main fears that holds us back from connection is the fear of being rejected. (When we first get herpes, we conveniently blame it on only herpes, but it's our deep fear of rejection in general. Everyone has a fear of rejection.)

 

This is a great short conversation about rejection that describes how sneaky self-fulfilling prophecies can be. (By the way, this is a conversation for an audience of men, but it's true for human beings in general.) ;)
