Just a thank you....

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone here. I've been HSV2 positive for two and a half years.... I only THOUGHT I had educated myself.... Thanks for all of the information that is available because I'm feeling less scared about having any discussions with potential partners. The first discussion I had post diagnosis with someone I was dating came from a place of shame and I lacked the confidence to put him at ease --- could be that I wasn't up to date on relevant information--- As a matter of fact, I told him that I wasn't sure I would continue dating if the tables were turned, which, at the time, was true. So, I'm grateful for this forum and how it has changed MY perspective about, not only myself, but the diagnosis in general. After all, it's only a skin condition!!
