Love after 40

I'm not 40 yet but it's quickly approaching. How do people find their mates? Do you find online dating successful? Seems like the pool gets smaller not because of herpes but because people are usually married. Any advice is helpful. I will apply in the future.

I'm on several online dating sites. OKCupid, PlentyOfFish, and Positive Singles ... so far I haven't met the one but I figure it gives me other options I wouldn't meet otherwise. And BTW, I am totally out about my status on the regular sites and it hasn't slowed down the interest ;)

 

I'm also a swing dancer and I meet lots of guys there. One thing a lot of people do is join Meetup.com groups that do something they are interested in (hiking, computer nerd stuff, dancing, etc) which exposes you to potential guys who have a similar interest to you. I go hiking with a few Meetup groups when I can.
