My girlfriend and I were very sexually active until we found out that I had given her HSV 1 orally. Now we're both a bit nervous. She's had two outbreaks and can has been able to tell when she is about to flare up. Are we safe to continue performing oral sex as long as she is not experiencing an outbreak? Or is it better that we just not do it at all?

Yes, you can have oral sex... as much as you like as long as she's not having an outbreak because you already have Oral HSV1 .. so she can't give you *more* of it ;)

 

And she can give you oral because not only will it stay down south (it doesn't migrate through the body) but you already have the antibodies to it anyway to protect you :)
