weaning off antivirals

so I have been on antivirals for a few months, trying to get into a better place. I have no relationship prospects currently so I was thinking of stopping with the pills. whats the general plan to wean? im currently on 1 pill 2x a day 400 mg acyclovir. go 1 a day or 1 day 2 every other for a week? 1.5 a day then 1?

There's no set way to wean off ... I'd try going to one a day ... if you start getting prodromes, go to missing one pill every other day ... wait till it seems ok then drop the other day .... once you are down to one a day... again, try every other day ... if that doesn't work, try cutting them in half... the main thing is to just step it down gradually :)
