test order from my doctor and the result was hsv1 negative hsv2 positive, now is more then 8 months that i don't have a partner.... can I have a hope that this can be a false positive? At the end of the month i will do the IGG test

i am slowly trying to assimilate this problem because i am so scared to pass it to my daughter and if in the future i can still have relationship.

Hi @girl123 and welcome!

The IgM test is the worst option when it comes to herpes blood tests and getting a definitive result, so definitely go for the IgG test or if you have the means, get the Western Blot. Here's an article on those specifics: https://herpeslife.com/herpes-tests/

And about your question about passing it to your daughter, read this article: https://herpeslife.com/how-can-you-get-herpes/

if IGG comes out positive too i will tell my doc to order the westen blot.

when i meet my ex bf back in jan 2017 we had unprotect sex after few months and around july i start developing like a rash itch on my underware line but no blister, went to see my doct prescribe antifungall, good for a week or so then again, after few more month ( still having unprotected sex)  went to see new obgyn she exclude std gave me another corticosteroids  and she send me to the dermatology, even the dermatology said no std but a contact dermatitis, prescribe me a medication that clear out my rash.
